Mommy's Yummy Russian Tea Cakes



It's that time of the year again!!!  ooo How i love love love love love Christmas baking... Now this recipe is my mom's Christmas time cookie and my favorite!! These cookies are so easy to make and just melt in your mouth.  If you don't have pecans, walnuts will work just fine but not as amazing but still awesome.  Have fun baking!!

Russian Teacakes
2 1/4 cups of flour
1 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup powdered sugar
¾ cup finely chopped pecans
¼ teaspoon salt

Preheat over at 400 

Mix all ingredients together but the powdered sugar until all the ingredients are incorporated. Once you have a thick mixture roll each cookie into 1 1/2 inch size balls and bake for 10-12 minutes. Once you take them out of the oven immediately roll them in the powdered sugar and viola.  Eating time!!
